Help Fund a Documentary on "The Thief and the Cobbler"

This is not related to The World According to David Liebe Hart, but it is my next film:



I have been researching and considering to make a documentary on Richard Williams lost animated epic, The Thief and the Cobbler. I am about to begin shooting the documentary, which will be my senior project.

But the project needs funding for equipment and travel expenses to London.

I need to reach my minimum of $8,000 by July 12th, or all of the pledges will be refunded to the backers, and I won't receive any of the funds.

Official Selection at the DocMiami International Film Festival: May 30


The World According to David Liebe Hart is an official selection at the DocMiami International Film Festival.

The film will be shown at the Redwood at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Doral, FL on Sunday, May 30th, 2010, at 10:00 am.

"The DocMiami International Film Festival, showcasing three days of cutting edge documentary filmmakers and three nights of outstanding music concerts, is a celebration of documentary filmmaking at a global level nestled in sunny South Florida. The festival brings together emerging documentary filmmakers, students’ grades 6-12, as well as film and music enthusiasts in a truly bohemian, one-of-a-kind event. DocMiami’s music concerts benefit the non-profit, Brick by Brick for Tanzania, where performers such as: Melton Mustafa, Tito Puente, Jr., Fito Espinola and others have contributed their talents to assist school children in Tanzania whom are combating not only poverty but also a drought, hunger and the AIDS crisis."

David Liebe Hart -- internationally known as a regular on Tim and Eric on [adult swim] -- is a self-described actor, artist, puppeteer, singer, and songwriter who has been trying to make it big in Hollywood for over thirty years. While on his quest for success in Los Angeles, David provides his insights on race, religion, the economy, extraterrestrials, the entertainment industry, and other topics. David is joined by his two friends: his musical collaborator Adam Papagan and celebrity impersonator James Quall.

Directed by Kevin Schreck, The World According to David Liebe Hart is a unique documentary about an extremely fascinating and unique individual.
